The California Science Center is launching a new, free interactive exhibit “Game On! Science, Sports and Play” that blends sports, science, and technology in a Disneyland-like experience for all ages. Spanning 17,000 square feet in the former home of the Space Shuttle Endeavor, the exhibit features activities like batting against virtual MLB stars, kicking soccer goals, swimming, skateboarding, dancing, and more—using sensors and high-tech displays to engage visitors in hands-on learning. Funded by organizations including the LA84 Foundation and the Dodgers Foundation, “Game On!” is designed to be both educational and entertaining, drawing families, students, and even adults eager to relive childhood fun. Open through the 2028 Olympics, its popularity might just keep it around even longer.
