New Hanover County cuts ribbon on the new Cape Fear Museum

Founded in 1898, Cape Fear Museum is the oldest history museum in North Carolina. Its new home features more than 400 artifacts, the interactive Cape Fear Stories exhibit, a 60-seat planetarium, the Port City Play space for young children, the hands-on Science Matters gallery, and the Curious Nature outdoor learning gallery. Ravenswood Studio fabricated over 20,000 SF of exhibit space for this new museum.
