Step right up and join the circus! This captivating exhibit immerses children in the enchanting world beneath the big top, offering myriad roles to explore. Young visitors can choose between being the dazzling star of the show, a ticket taker, a flexible acrobat, or even a hot dog vendor. Circusville encourages kids to unleash their creativity, develop new skills, and embark on thrilling adventures under the spotlight.
In a successful collaboration with the Chicago Children’s Museum, Ravenswood Studio refurbished elements from the museum’s previous circus-themed exhibit and built new areas for big-body play. The new elements, including a concession stand and vendor props, a selfie area, and a climbing structure, were meticulously built for durability, considering the museum’s high wear and tear. The choice of materials for the frequently handled props and stomped-on platforms was a testament to Ravenswood’s commitment to high quality.
