The Children’s Discovery Museum reimagined its second-floor space by expanding its agriculture exhibit to connect farming with nutrition, healthy living, and the journey food takes from the field to the grocery store. Through immersive, hands-on experiences, visitors gain a deeper understanding of how agriculture shapes the food they eat and the choices they make every day.

From the Farm to a Healthy Me invites children to explore modern agriculture through interactive experiences, including tractor, combine, and drone simulators. The exhibit highlights today’s farming practices and demonstrates how technology helps farmers produce food for a growing population.

Building on existing museum spaces, including Ravenswood’s fabricated Healthy Me exhibit, Ravenswood expanded the agricultural, grocery store, and health experiences with new interactive environments and custom-fabricated features. Foam-sculpted elements such as chickens, giant pumpkin, and an oversized watering can, along with attractions like the honeycomb climber and milking barn, create an engaging environment that encourages exploration, learning, and play for visitors of all ages.
