Ravenswood Studio engineered 14 interactive experiments from the simple and low-tech Table Cloth Chaos to the incredibly complex Running in the Rain. We also fabricated a live show package that includes lighting, staging, and custom show properties. These interactive components not only emulated the look and feel of the show, but actually go beyond what the TV show provides.
The industrial look we employed for this 12,000 sq. ft. exhibit mimics the show aesthetic, but what looks like it was built hastily in the show’s shop, had to be sturdily built and function like a permanent exhibit in terms of reliability, safety and durability. The exhibits had to be incredibly robust and componentized so that they could be set up and dismantled, and crated and moved to the next museum. We provided extensive documentation; operations manuals, maintenance manuals, crating instructions, and installation manuals with support photos to achieve this.
